Martha Hewlett daughter of James Hewlett, was born in 1820 in Farley Chamberlayne, Hampshire, England, United Kingdom, daughter of James Hewlett (1803– ) and Priscilla Rogers (1783– ).

Martha (29) daughter of James Hewlett, married Joseph Taylor (22) (born in 1827 in Middlesex, England; son of Joseph Taylor and Frances (Wright) Taylor) on May 19, 1850 in Clerkenwell, Middlesex, England. Their daughter was Caroline Frances Taylor (1850–1936). [1]

Martha died on August 16, 1902 in Richmond, Victoria, Australia, aged 81.
