George Hewlett was born in 1634 in England to Lewis Hewlett and Wackraet Rutte who immigrated to America in 1636.[1]
He married Mary Baylis (Bayless) on 14 May 1680 in Gravesend, Long Island, New York.[2] Mary Hewlett, daughter of John Bayless, is mentioned in The Bayless Family, page 69, in John's will in 1682.[3]
He died on 14 May 1722 in Hempstead, Queens, New York, and was buried in the Old Burying Ground on Fulton Avenue in Hempstead, Nassau, New York. He was listed on a cenotaph in the Christ Church Cemetery, Manhasset, Nassau, New York.[4]

The Shrewsbury George was a Quaker, I don't see any Quaker sources for this one (but both need research).
