Biography

John was born in 1730 or 1731 to John Hewlett and Hannah Jackson. His Christening was in 1736.^[1]

John resided in 1751 in Oyster Bay, Queens (now Nassau), New York.

Marriage to Sarah Townsend was in 1851.^[2]

He passed away in 1812. He was buried in Mt. Nebo Cem, East Woods (Woodbury), L.I., New York.^[3]
