Nancy was born 8 Jan 1795 to Isaac Hewett and Cynthia Swan, probably in North Stonington.^[1][2]

• The exact location of her birth is not known. There are no records of those born in North Stonington, however there is no record of her being born in Stonington either. The fact that she appears in "History of Stonington", leads the profile manager to believe that she was born in North Stonington.^[1][2]

Marriage

Nancy married Charles Phelps Wheeler, probably on or before 23 Feb 1818 ^a, based on the date of birth of their first child.^[1][2]

^aThe date and location have not yet been located. "History of Stonington" incorrectly states that they married six months after Nancy was born.^[1]
