Biography
Denison Hewitt was born 19 Jan 1811 at North Stonington, Connecticut. He was the ninth and final child of Stanton Hewitt and Lucinda Grant.
He married 03 Apr 1839 @ North Stonington, Connecticut, Mary P. Browning [1]. They had two children:
- Thomas Browning Hewitt (1842-1921)
- Mary J. Hewitt, b. 1855
This family was recorded in census records consistently in North Stonington [2],[3],[4],[5].
Denison Hewitt died 16 Oct 1888 at North Stonington. His grave is in Hewitt Cemetery, North Stonington, New London County, Connecticut, USA [6].
