Jacob was born in 1836. [1][2]He immigrated to the United States between 1853 - 1855[3] and married his wife, Margaret Seipp in 1856.

In 1860 Jacob and Margaret lived in Jackson, Harrison, Indiana with two of their children, John age 1 and Phoebe aged 1 month. Jake was listed as a blacksmith.

He passed away in 1902. [4][5]

Birth 10 Apr 1835 in Nieder-Weisel. Jacob is the 2nd son (and 3rd child) of carpenter Johann Jacob Häuser and Anna Margaretha Dämon?. [6]
