Biography

Frederick Hetzler served with Lancaster County Militia, Pennsylvania Militia during the American Revolution.

Frederick Hetzler was born on February 11, 1757 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Johan Hetzler and Anna Dohm. Frederick was married to Anna Barbara (Singer) Hetzler (1762-1810). Frederick died on April 25, 1835.

(Research Notes: He may have had a second wife Elizabeth Phipps and possibly additional wives after her. Also, there is conflicting information about his death and burial place between New York and Ohio.)

Frederick Hetzler served in the American Revolution under Captain George Volick, Lancaster County Militia, Pennsylvania Militia.^[1]
