Birth

John was born in Ontario, before birth registration began in 1869. His parents are John Henry & Jane (or Mary) Henderson.. His date of birth is taken from the 1901 Census.

Marriage

On December 22, 1882], at Huntsville in Chaffey Township in the Muskoka District of Ontario, 33 year old John Henry married Martha Ferguson, age 20. John, a batchelor farmer in Armor Township, was born at Hope County to John and Mary Henry. Martha, a resident of Armor Township, was born at Caledon to George and Margaret Ferguson. Witnesses were Thomas Kernie and Ambrozina Ferguson.^[1]
