Thomas was born on 19 July 1873 in Clonmell, Tipperary, Ireland. He is the son of John Henneberry and Julia Cummins, likely their oldest child. Thomas was baptized in St. Mary's Parish in Clonmel, which was half in Tipperary and half in Waterford counties.

• 1900 census Brooklyn, Kings, New York lists Thomas Henerbery, age 25, born Aug 1874 in Ireland, with parents John and Julia, and siblings John 22, and Kate 16. They live at 391 Hick Street (sorta hard to read) which is rented. John and Julia have been married for 31 years. Julia has 4 of 5 children living. John arrived in 1882, the rest of the family in 1888. The males have been naturalized and are all Longshoreman (a little hard to read). Kate works as a servant.^[13]

• 1918 WWI draft registration lists Thomas James Henneberry, age 45, born 20 July 1873. He is white, medium height, medium build, with blue eyes and black hair. He is a naturalized citizen and his nearest relative is Margaret Henneberry and they both live at Village Street in Medway. He works as a paper maker at the Safepack Paper Mill in Mills, Massachusetts.^[14]

They live on Village Street in a rented place. Thomas Sr works as a shoemaker in shoe shop, John works as ________ in the Railroads, Thomas Jr. works as a weaver in a woolen mill, Nellie works as ______ in a box (or book) shop. Thomas arrived in 1885 and was naturalized in 1900, Margaret arrived in 1894 and was naturalized in 1899(?).^[15]

• 1930 census Medway, Norfolk, Massachusetts lists Thomas J Henneberry, age 59 born in Ireland Free State, with wife Margaret A. and son Edward J 16. Thomas doesn’t work, but Edward works as a bobbin (?) boy at a woolen mill. They live at Sanford Street, no number, which is owned and valued at $3500 and which is not a farm, and they have a radio set. Thomas is a veteran of the Spain war. Thomas was 27 and Margaret was 21 when they married. They both immigrated in 1880 and are both naturalized. Also in the same house is Thomas J Henneberry (Jr.) age 27, his wife Beatrice and son Thomas J (3rd) age 1 year 2 months. They rent for $12 per month. Thomas Jr. is a Beamer in a woolen mill.^[16]

• 1961 died on October 24th, as listed in the Milford Daily News. He was 88 years old. He died at home at 244 Main Street, Medway from a short illness. He was born in Ireland on 20 July 1873, son of the late John Henneberry and Julia Cummings. Husband of Margaret Mullens. Was a shoe cutter until retirement in 1933. Buried in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Was part of many clubs, resident of Medway for 61 years. Survived by sons John P Sr, Thomas J Jr, and Edward J Sr, and daughter Mrs. Paul Higgins Sr, and nine grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were all grandsons.
