George was born June 15,1912. He was the son of Charles Henchen and Charlotte Lays. He passed away Feb 24,1990.
George married Evelyn M. Robertson.
1915-George age 1. Brother: Charles age 0. Parents: Charles age 25, Charlotte age 25.
1920-George age 7. Brother: Charles age 4. Parents: Charles age 29, worked plumber, Charlotte age 31.
1925-George age 12.
1930-George age 17. Parents: Charles age 39, worked salesman retail hardware store, Charlotte age 41.
1940-George age 28, worked attendant bowling alley. Evelyn age 30. Child: Carol Marie age 0.
George has long illness. Educated Holy Family School. He operated Henchen Bowling Hall in Rochester for 22 years till 1962. Moved to Henderson Harbor to operate Henchen Marina & Fishing Camp.
Inducted as member of Rochester Bowling Hall of Fame 1974.
