We're doing our semi-annual check-in to ask whether you have made contributions to the project in the last six months?
Please note that it is a requirement for membership in the 1776 Project that you respond to this check-in. Please post your response as a reply to this message on your page, for convenience of record keeping.
Thank you for the response, Lynn. We understand that every member's available time changes from year to year. If you would like to rejoin the project, please follow the directions at the project page.
In the Georgia Historic Newspapers section, they have committed to digitizing at least one newspaper for each of the 159 counties in Georgia - https://gahistoricnewspapers.galileo.usg.edu/
Hi Lynn, a couple of weeks ago I sent out a check-in for the US Civil War Project, this is just a quick reminder to let me know if you intend to remain in the Project. Hope to hear from you soon. I'll assume your not interested if I don't hear back from you by the end of February. Thank you.
P Kreutzer, US Civil War Between the States Project Leader
Hi Pam. Somehow, I did not realize I was on this Project. I just read the information on the US Civil War Project. I would like to put some time in on this. I have a number of ancestors who fought for the CSA so I will begin with them. I have worked on several projects in the past few years and enjoyed the focus it provides. I find myself getting easily distracted and going down various rabbit holes when I don't have that focus.
Hi Lynn, I just wanted to thank you for all the work you've done to improve the US Civil War Between the States Project. I'm doing a check-in with all project members and wanted to verify that you're still interested in being a member of the project. Also, any suggestions for the Project would be welcome. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
P Kreutzer, US Civil War Between the States Project Leader.
I am checking in on behalf of the 1776 Project to announce the new project membership requirements and to verify that you are still interested in being a member of the project. All project members are being asked to join one of the project teams and also to make at least one project contribution every 6 months. We are also asking all project members to join the project's Google Group for project communications.
If you are interested in remaining with the Project, please reply to this comment or send me a message, request to join the Google Group, and let us know what team you would like to participate on.
We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hard work. If you have any questions, please ask. We would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project.
If we don't hear back from you we will assume that you no longer wish to participate in the project and if so, you could rejoin at any time as is convenient for you.
Thanks for taking responsibility for more Orphaned Profiles. This is a courtesy email to share the After Adopting Orphans FAQ which explains the special attention adopted profiles will sometimes need from their profile managers. One quick way to find the profiles you adopted is by searching your Contributions List for the word "adopted" and "manager." You can find a quick link to your Contributions List in the My WikiTree dropdown menu.
The main reason I wanted to share is in case you will be working with any profiles needing GEDCOM cleanup. The AGC tool can help with formatting so that you can concentrate on the research. You can read more about it in the WikiTree AGC FAQ.
The Global Cemeteries Project is currently undergoing our member check-in and wanted to verify that you are still active and interested in being a member of the project. Are you currently assigned to or working with one of our Cemetery Teams? If not, is there a particular Team or area you are interested in participating with? I would be delighted to help you get setup in one or more of our collaborative teams!
We use Google Groups for internal project collaboration, so if you are not yet setup for access feel free to submit a join request and we will get that approved as quick as possible. We also ask that members check their follwed tags to make sure you are following the correct project tag (CEMETERIES) so you don't miss any disucssions in G2G.
Last, but not least, we would like to thank you for all of your contributions to WikiTree and let you konw that any ideas or suggestions for improvement you may have for the Global Cemeteries Project would greatly appreciated!
I have been inactive for a time but just sent Sandy Patak a message several weeks ago that I was ready to rejoin the Southeast Region team. I am on the Georgia Cemeteries team. I still have other interests but plan to spend several hours a week working on this interest.
Thank you so much for responding to our check-in for Worldwide Mining Disasters.
We are sorry to hear that you are not currently active, but we understand that life happens and interests shift as we grow our shared tree and that some members may have moved on to projects more pertinent to the branches they are currently building.
The badge will be removed.
Please know that you will always be welcome to rejoin the project should your interests shift back in this direction.Thank you so much for your participation; we genuinely appreciate your 15-16 mining space pages and profiles contributions.
Good luck with Cemeteries

I am doing a six-month check-in with members to see if you were active in the last six months in Worldwide Disasters Project. Please let me know, by comment on my profile or a private message, whether you are still active in the project.
How have you contributed to the Worldwide Mining Disasters sub-project or Disasters main project? (a contribution may be a space page for a disaster, disaster source, an edit for the space page, or profiles of people in disasters).
Added Research Notes for both DOB and Preferred Name issues for James Lewis Freeman. I used much of your Notes for DOB. I prefer Research Notes to Notes since inline citations are allowed above the <references /> tag. I think both issues are documented okay.
I wanted to thank you for joining Team Georgia on the Global Cemeteries Project. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or ideas you have. I've created a "sandbox" for Team Georgia to use as a collaborative space for questions, help, advice. ideas, etc amongst the Team.
In the meantime, check out the Team Georgia Progress Page and add the Cemeteries that you are currently (or planning to start) working on....or let me know and I can add them for you.

P.S. Can you send me the link for the Princeton Cemetery Space Page
Weve made some exciting changes to the Global Cemeteries Project. The sub-projects have been merged into the Global Project to help with Leadership and to facilitate collaboration.
Some roles within the project have changed. From now on, there are Project Coordinators for each continent, and one for Welcome and Integration, plus Team Leaders for each individual Country etc.
Please let me know if youd like to stay on in the new project, if youd like to continue in an existing role, and which team(s) youd like to be on. Please also give me your e-mail address so that I can get you added to the projects Google Group.
Re: your question "Where did the LOGAN name come from? Was it a marriage prior to Arnold?" Here's what I believe to be true: Martha Hannah Johnson married Washington Arnold. They had a son - William David Webster Arnold, who had a daughter Lillie Arnold (my grandmother). Lillie married Ferd Monroe Logan (my grandfather). So the Arnolds were on my paternal grandmother's side, the Logans were on my paternal grandfather's side. Not sure if that helps you any, but I hope it does! :)
I see you added the DNA tag to your profile. Here are a few links & tips to help you along in the journey of WikiTree and DNA.
It's not hard to add DNA test information to profiles on WikiTree, just make sure you add the tests to the actual test participant's profile & set the Privacy to Private w/ Public Biography & Family Tree to show the tester's part of our tree. For help see How to DNA on WikiTree

All the sources listed on his page use James L. Freeman. The picture of his marriage certificate has J L Freeman.
For what reason was this change made?
