Walter F. Heisler was the son of George Heisler and Elizabeth Treese. Walter and Jessie B Nearhoof had three (3) children:

- Robert J Heisler, 1917-??
- Blair Sanford Heisler (or Sanford Blair) Heisler 1927-1980.
Walter died at age of 88 yrs. he was buried September 06, 1974 at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Altoona, Blair County, Pennsylvania.
