Biography

Birth 06 Jul 1734 in Niederhofen. Eberhardina is the daughter of Cristian Heußler and Maria Dorothea.[1]

  • Research note: Probably they made a mistake with the mother´s first name. At her sister Rosina´s baptism record Maria Dorothea was written first and than crossed out and replaced by Eva Elisabetha.

Jacob Acker married Eberhartine Heisler, daughter of Christian Heisler and his wife Eva Elizabeth. They had those children: Christian, born 12/25/1755; Philip Jacob, born 8/30/1757; John Leonhart, born 9/22/1752; George Henry, born 12/10/1761; Daniel; Michael, born 12/25/1766; John, and two daughters. Jacob Acker, as well as his father, Philip Jacob Acker, was buried at Ziegel church. The tombstone of Jacob Acker, a slate slab, contains the following inscription: "Here rests in God, Jacob Acker, who was born 7/25/1736, had lived in the matrimonial state with Eberhartine Heisler for 47 years, to whom nine children were born, eight sons and one daughter." The rest of the inscription was defaced.
