Biography

On December 24, 1932 Minnie Kern (19) married Jack Headden [sic] (28) in Grant County, Arkansas. Both were residents of Sheridan in Grant County.[1]

The couple would initially take up residence in Jefferson County, Arkansas and would have two daughters there before moving to Blanford, Indiana about 1937. In 1940 Jack and Minnie had three daughters: Bernice (9), Lois Marie (5) and Coza (3). Jack was working a laborer on county roads.[2]

In 1940 James A Hedden was 35 years old and living at Clinton, Indiana with his wife Minnie. He was born March 20, 1905 at Hensley, Arkansas. He was employed with the WPA in Lafayette.[3]

Jack and Minnie divorced in 1943 (cited in Minnie's 2nd marriage [4]

James died in 1978 and was buried at Redfield Cemetery.[5]
