This needs to be posted on Annette Fagnan's WT page.
Maternal relationship is confirmed through Mitochondrial DNA test results on Family Tree DNA. Annette Fagnan, FTDNA kit #406832, and her maternal line cousin UNK (a direct matrilineal descendant of Helena Guidry, FTDNA kit #55041, have an Genetic Distance = 1 in HVR2 at C324T, thereby confirming their direct maternal lines back to their most-recent common ancestor who is Andree Guyon, the 9x great grandmother of Annette Fagnan and 11th great grandmother of UNK. See this diagram from the Mothers of Acadia DNA Project for more information.
We are seventh cousins 1x removed; first common ancestor is Michel (Hache) Gallant, Larche, Galand on my maternal side. My mother's mothers maiden name was Hache; my father's surname was Martin, hence my maiden name! I found our connection through a 'Martin' connection. WikiTree has been phenomenal in finding maternal Martin connections for me; something I had not thought possible in the past!

Im Shirley a WikiTree Mentor. Our primary vision is to build a collaborative tree with just one profile per person, so please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile. Please look at how to write a Biography and how to put Sources in.
Having dates and locations attached to every person assists in our mission as well if you have pre-1700s ancestors to add please read our Pree-1700 profiles info.

Jacqueline, you are now a member of WikiTree! Please help us build one Collaborative Global Family Tree, which means only one profile per person. It's important that no duplicates are created and profiles are properly sourced.
My mother and I have been working on our tree on an off for years and now have started some DNA testing and hope to find the time to start researching again.
