Research Notes
Susannah received 50 lbs. money and some furniture in her father's Will, in 1777. She also received stuff in her mother's Will in 1795. In her brother John's Will he mentions her has the widow of William Dark and leaves her some things if his wife Phebe does not come back to him, this is in 1804.
PROBATE RECORDS: Chatham county, North Carolina film #1548328, She wrote her Will 9 December 1846 and it was probated in January of 1847. Her executors were her son John and J.W. Emerson, the witnesses were Josiah Headen and Permelia A. (X) Henderson.
