Biography
From History of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania:
Miss Mary J. Hazlett, retired teacher, postoffice Bonney, is a daughter of Samuel and Mary Hazlett, and was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., in 1830.About 1840 he purchased forty-four acres of land in Chartiers township, upon which he resided until his death, in 1858, when he was sixty-one years of age. His widow survived him until 1880, when she departed this life at the age of ninety-one years. They had four children: James Wills (deceased), Sarah Lawson, wife of Samuel Hodgson; Mary Jane, and Eliza McKee, wife of James Wilkinson.
