Biography

George William Hazlett was born on 18 June 1908, at Five Dock, New South Wales, Australia.[1] He was the son of William James Hazlett (1887-1957) and Selina Elizabeth Anslow Moodie (1888-1940).

George married Inez Isabel Cumming (1910-1985) on 1 February 1932, at Mangere, Waitangi, Chatham Islands, New Zealand. They had three children.

He passed away on 3 May 1984, at Toowoon Bay, New South Wales, Australia.[2] George is buried at Palmdale Lawn Cemetery and Memorial Park, Palmdale, New South Wales, Australia.[3]

HAZLETT, George William - May 3, 1984, late of Toowoon Bay, beloved husband of Inez, dearly loved father and father-in-law of Max and Kay, Ken and Gwen, and Lynne and Graeme, loving grandfather and great-grandfather of their children and dear brother of Doth (deceased), Allan (deceased), Gwen and Eric, aged 75 years.
