Biography
Dorothy Elizabeth Hazlett was born on April 26, 1934 in Carlisle, Cumberland, Pennsylvania to parents Heber and Lydia (Heberlig) Hazlett.
On February 16, 1952 she married George Dewey Shearer Jr (1931-2006) and together they had 5 children: Terry, Heber, Robert, Roger, and Matthew.
She passed away on July 17, 2007 at the age of 73 and was buried at New Bern National Cemetery.
