Biography
Emma Julia Haydon (married name Whitehead) was born in 1849 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, daughter of Clarissa (Watts) Haydon and George Haydon.
She married William Rostron Whitehead in 1873 in Victoria.[1] Their children were:
- Emma Clarice Whitehead (1873–1894)[2]
- Geraldine Whitehead (1875–?)[3]
- William Gerald Whitehead (1876–?)[4]
- Joseph Lionel Whitehead (1878–1957)[5]
- Roland Wesley Whitehead (1879–1964)[6]
Emma died on 3 October 1934 in Melbourne, aged 84 years.[7] Her remains were buried at Melbourne General Cemetery in Carlton North, Victoria.[8]
