  • The mysterious 4th child - 2nd son - will find difficulty to squeeze in a pregnancy between birth of Freda 23 Mar 1910 and the conception of Clifton up to 9 months prior to his birth on 29 May 1911. Neither of these children show as having a twin. The gap between the two births is 14 months 1 week. Eight months less than that is 6 months so perhaps an adoption or perhaps the birth record of Clifton contains an error. Perhaps Ray George (per 1921 Ulverstone School Awards article) is the missing son.
