Biography
Anton was the son of Balthasar Fridolin Anton and Maria Elisabeth (Leu) Hauser. He was raised in the Roman Catholic church and worked as a lumberjack, sandsmith, and field worker. Anton married Maria Agatha Gallati on 20 November 1823. Together they had eight sons. Anton died at the age of 83.[1]
