Biography

MAUDE MARIE HATT, b. in 1889, d. in Oct. 1955, first m. 10 Nov. 1909 in Liverpool, GEORGE SNOW. (One of their children is "HANK" SNOW, widely known through his country music over the years). Maude Marie Snow second m. CHARLES TANNER (although it appears they divorced, George did not pass until after Maude, see below).[1]

George Lewis Hatt (21) son of Curtis and Nina married Maud Alice Hatt (21) daughter of - and Elizabeth on Nov 10, 1909 at Liverpool, NS.[2] George is listed as a Lumberman on the registration.

George Snow (35) is on the 1921 census with wife Maude (29) and their children; Clarence (7), Lillian (14), Nina (11) and Marion (5).[3] George's profession is simply listed as "odd jobs".

Maud Marie Alice Tanner (64) passed on Oct 7, 1953 at Liverpool, NS.[4] Cause of death was a cerebral hemorrhage and her daughter Nina Tanner made the return. Parents listed as Spurgeon Hatt and Elizabeth Conolly.

George Lewis Snow (83) passed on Sept 7, 1966 at Fahies Nursing Home in Liverpool, NS.[5] Cause of death was arteriosclerosis and malnutrition and Nina Tanner his daughter signed off on the return. Father was unknown at time of death, mother listed as Nina Anthony.
