Christian Hassler, the son of Michael Hassler, who was Reformed, and Margreta Kormen, a Lutheran, was born August 28, 1752 and was baptised April 23, 1753 at St. Michael's and Zion Lutheran Church, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with sponsors Jacob and Maria Landgraf.
Christian Hassler was taxed in 1783 owning 50 acres in Cordus Township, York County, Pennsylvania, with 6 inhabitants.[1]
He passed away in 1813.
