19.10.1889. Maybury & Hassler have struck a rich vein in Rouse's Estate at the head of the old diggings,worked nearly 30 years ago. 2lb Gold.
2.11.1889. A sensational find by Hassler & Mayberry who were working on a 10 acre mine lease on the old Biraganbil workings,from 3 bags od dirt washed 3lb Gold.When the metal was exhibited in the bank in Gulgong it aroused intense excitement.
