The 15 Dec 1893 edition of the Butler Citizen reported:

"Mrs Hassler (or Nordheim) and her daughter, Mrs. Martin, were buried from the German Lutheran Church of Millerstown last Friday. An immense crowd attended the services, and it was the saddest funeral that ever occurred in the town."

Also:

"The will of Christina Hasler of Donegal twp. lately murdered, was filed yesterday. It is in Esq. Huselton's hand writing, and was brought to town and filed by him and C. Wimer, another subscribing witness. The will gives her daughter, Alvina Leidecker, $1,000; Louisa Whitmire $10; Lewis Northeim the farm in Donegal twp , machinery, etc., and a 1/4 interest in the Coyle farm oil well; Flora Northeim $5,000 the parlor furniture, some small articles and 1/4 interest in the Coyle well; Christina Leidecker $100; and Lewis Northeim $1000. All the rest to be divided equally between Lewis and Flora. Lewis is made executor. Flora died before her mother and her share will probably go to Lewis."
