Grover Cleveland Hash was born on September 13, 1893 in Independence, Virginia, United States.
Grover (22) married Emma Leda Hicks (18) (born on December 13, 1897 in Lake Shore, Utah, Utah, USA; daughter of Henry Bryant Hicks and Emma Selena Youd) on December 15, 1915 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. Their daughter was Wyola Hash (1920–1985).
