Dorothea (Harvey) Dunne was born in Eastry, Kent, England.

Dorothea (Dorothy) Ellen Harvey was born on 22 Jun 1902 in Blean, Kent, England to parents James Robert Harvey and Emma Jane Danson. Her birth was registered in Eastry, Kent, England in 1902 Sep Qtr.[1] She was baptized on 20 Sep 1903 in St Anne, Poole's Park, Islington, England.[2]

She emigrated to Canada with her parents in 1906 and was living with her family in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in 1916. Her father was a baker foreman.[3]

In 1911 she was age 8 and living with her mother and sisters in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.[4]

In 1921 she was age 18 and living with her parents in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada. She was working as a stenographer. Her father was a journeyman baker.[5]

She married Fintan Dunne on 9 Nov 1926 in Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Canada.[6][7]

In 1931 she was age 28 and living with her husband in Yale, British Columbia, Canada. Her husband was a general farmer.[8]

Her husband Fintan died on 15 Mar 1954 in Armstrong, British Columbia.[11]

Dorothea was secretary of Armstrong High School for many years.[12]

She died on 2 Oct 1997 in Armstrong, British Columbia, Canada, and was buried in the Armstrong Cemetery there.[13]
