Isaiah was born in 1848. He is the son of Frederick Hartzell and Mary Ickes.

Isaiah Hartzell’s Injuries Are Fatal

Sebring, March 8. — Isaiah Hartzell, aged 65 years, run over and frightfully injured by two horses being driven at breakneck speed along the Beloit road Wednesday evening, succumbed today at noon. Until yesterday, his condition had been hopeful, but peritonitis set in suddenly and death ensued within a few hours.

The deceased, who has spent his entire life in this vicinity, is survived by three brothers, Dr. James Hartzell of Porto Rico, Captain J. C. Hartzell, Sebring, and Jesse Hartzell, Damascus; and by two sisters, Mrs. Lucy A. Ball, of New Jersey, and Mrs. Howard Johnson, Cleveland. The deceased was never married.
