Research Notes
It is believed that Benjamin Harrison married Lydia Delawder in February of 1851 and enlisted in the military in November of 1851. The record of death for Melvina Frances Harrison Sherman indicates that Benjamin is her father and it is believed that he passed away in 1858 (a source is needed). Her mother was remarried in 1859.
