When Silas Harrington was born on June 4, 1740[1], in Scituate, Rhode Island, his father, Josiah, was 38 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 37. He married Silas Harrington in 1768. He then married Freelove Fiske and they had 13 children together. He died on December 8, 1819, in Hoosick, New York, having lived a long life of 79 years, and was buried there.
