Biography

Norman James Harriman was born on 8 August 1870 in Caulfield, Victoria, Australia, the son of Isabella Ellen (Webb) Harriman and Benjamin Cosway Harriman.^[1]

He married Betty Birrell on 6 October 1897 in Baynton, Victoria.^[2] Their children were:

• Norma Amy Irene Harriman (1898–1967)^[3]
• Maisie Isabella Harriman (1899–?)^[4]

Norman died on 22 May 1927 in Prahran, Victoria, aged 56 years.^[5] His remains were buried in May 1927 in Cheltenham, Victoria^[6].
