Harry Dandridge Harper Jr was born on 15 Jul 1934 in Fort Madison, Lee, Iowa, United States, son of Dr. Harry Dandridge Harper Sr and Lillie V (Grinage) Harper.
He married Marilyn Eugenia Hill in 1960 in Clemson, Pickens, South Carolina, United States. They met while both students at Howard University Medical School. They later divorced Jul 1973 in San Francisco.[1][2]
He was the first medical director of the Lee County (Iowa) Medical Center and the founder of Harper Medical Group in Sacramento, California. A scholarship fund at Howard University Medical Center was named in honor of him and his father (the Dr. Harry Harper Sr and Dr. Harry Harper Jr Scholarship Fund).
Harry died on 18 May 2000 in Sacramento, Sacramento, California aged 65.[3][4][5]
