Sergeant Jonathan Harnden served with 11th Regiment, Connecticut Militia during the American Revolution.

Born 15 May 1733 in Wilmington, Massachusetts, son of Barchias Harnden and Sarah.^[1][2]

Probably married by 1755, although no marriage is found in the Wilmington MA VR. Nor are any births of his children.

Was in Granville, New York, by 1810.^[4]

There was a Jonathan Harnden who married Rhoda Abbott in Wilmington, Massachusetts in 1809, but this seems awfully late for him.^[5] (more likely this is the Jonathan Harnden, born in 1784, son of Benjamin Harndon).
