Biography

Name : Cornelia /Haring/[1]

Cornelia was a daughter of Pieter Haring and Margritje Bogert, born 24 February 1690. She married Richard Truman.

Cornelia died before 19 April 1736, when her father made his will, describing himself as "Peter Heringh of Tappan, in Orange County, yeoman." The will mentioned grandchildren Peter and Richard Truman, who were to receive the same share as each of his seven living children.

Children

  1. Richard Truman (1711-1747)[2]
  2. Pieter Truman, baptized 20 September 1713 in the Reformed Dutch Church of New York, recorded as the child of Richard Treuman and Cornelia Haring. Witnesses were Theunis and Vrouwtje Quick.[3]

There's no such person as Cornelia born 1683.
Haring-214 and Haring-140 appear to represent the same person because: We can merge this one down, and then figutre out what to do with it regarding parents. No tree conflicts. Thanks!

Ackerman's "Haring Family" book does not have a Cornelia born in 1683. JPH's oldest son Peter didn't marry until 1687 and had a daughter Cornelia in 1690 who married a Richard Truman.
Imported in error as Daughter of [father unknown] and Margrietje (Cozyns) Haring but Cornelia is not one of her children, and seems instead to be a dupe of the match, so I am going to disconnect the false Cozyns mother.
