Ann E. Hardie was born on 6 Jul 1846, daughter of John Hardie (1797–1848) and Mary Mead Hall (1812–1872).
Annie (23) and James Jefferson Montgomery Lewis (33) were married on 23 Nov 1869 in Talladega.[1] James was born on 5 Dec 1835 in Newberry, South Carolina, United States. He was the son of John A. Lewis and Nancy Andrews Workman.
She inherited Thornhill Plantation from her mother in 1872 and her husband took possession of it.
Annie died on 2 Nov 1880 in Thornhill, Talladega, Alabama, United States, aged 34.
