James born Sep 1763 the fourth son of Samuel. He died in 1830. He was married in 1790 and had eight sons and two daughters. During the agitation for the Rights of Parliamentary Representation for Birmingham he was one of 63 leading citizens who issued a manifesto calling a meeting 22 Jun 1817 on Newhall Hill which was attented by about 30,000 people.[1]
