Susan was born in 1843 in Baptist Valley, Tazewell, Virginia, United States to the parents of Milton Laadan Hankins and Martha Elizabeth Webb.[1]

In 1850, Susan lived in Jeffersonville, Tazewell, Virginia, United States with her parents and three (3) siblings.[2]

In 1860, Susan lived in Western District, Tazewell, Virginia, United States with her parents and seven (7) siblings.[3]

In 1870, Susan lived with her parents and six (6) siblings in Jeffersonville, Tazewell, Virginia, United States.[4]

In 1880, a year after her mother's death, Susan was the oldest sister in the home living in Jeffersonville, Tazewell, Virginia, United States with her father and six (6) siblings and one (1) nephew.[5]

After 1880, Susan died in Tazewell, Virginia, United States and was buried in Hankins Cemetery, Baptist Valley, Tazewell County, Virginia, USA.[6]
