Alfred Hankin was born 21st September 1855, in Wareside, Hertfordshire, England & baptised there 4th May 1856, the son of Thomas Hankin & Diana Lincoln.[1][2][3]

Alfred Hankin, Bachelor, of Widfred, Herts, (son of Thomas Hankin, Farmer) & Martha Ann Martin, Spinster, of London (daughter of Thomas Martin, Publican) were married 21st December 1878 in the Parish Church of St. John the Evangelist, Walthamstow, Essex, England.[4][5]

Alfred Hankin of Minges Farm, Much Hadham, Hertfordshire, England died aged 87, on 20th May 1943. Probate of his estate was granted at Llandudno 14th August 1943 to Leonard Hankin, Haulage Contractor and Henry Lancelot Hare, Solicitor.[6][7]
