The Marriage Record shows that on 30 Apr 1892 at St George's Ch, Wigan, Thomas Parr, a 20 yo Bachelor and Collier from School Lane married Martha Hankin, a 20 yo spinster from Wigan. The Groom's father, Henry Parr was a collier and the Bride's father, Thomas Hankin was a Collier. The witnesses were James Delaney and Mary Jane Swift. (Film 1885727).
The 1911, census shows that Thomas and Martha had 11 children prior to the census but 5 did not survive to that date. All 11 children were listed on the census and no distinction was made as to whether they were living or dead.
