Obituary[1] William Hank William C. Hank, 79, of 316 Adams St., Henry, died at 5:44 a.m. Friday, Oct 7. 1994, at his home. Born April 7, 1915, in Whitefield Township, Marshall County to Henry J. and Christina E. Schlosser Hank, he married Lucille Smith on 18 Jan 1947, in Morton. She survives. Also surviving are one brother, Clarence L. of Henry; one sister, Dorothy Young of Iola, KA; and nieces and nephews. One brother preceded in in death. A World War II Army veteran, he was a member of American Legion Post 323. He owned and operated a contracting business. He was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church. Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Ries-McKitrick & Newton Mortuary, Henry Chapel. The Rev. Walter A. Breuning officiated. Visitation was from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. Burial was in Henry Cemetery, where military rites were accorded by his American Legion post. Memorials may be made to Henry Community Ambulance Service.
