He could not have been born at Woollas Hall because Woollas Hall was erected by John Hanford in 1611. See http://www.british-history.ac.uk/vch/worcs/vol4/pp68-76#highlight-first

what sources support Hugh as father of John Hansford & Elizabeth Hanford?

Refer to http://www.british-history.ac.uk/vch/worcs/vol4/pp68-76

John Hanford of Woolas Hall (built in 1611 by John) was clearly not the same man that married Jane Bellew. John Hanford of Woolas Hall was the son of Thomas Hanford, husband of Margaret Hugford

Per discussion in profiles for Bellew-3 and Hanford-7, it is highly unlikely that they were Hugh's parents. I am therefore disconnecting them.

The preponderance of the evidence indicates that John Hanford and Jane (Joan) Bellew Hanford were most likely married in Devon, England and resided there as well. Is there any evidence that they had a son Hugh b 1573 in Worcester ?

The Ancestry, com sources cited are only accessible to paid mambers. Would you be able to cite the original sources used to support the facts presented in the profile ?

Disconnecting Eglin as his wife. Eglin Hatherly was married to Jeffrey Hanford.
