I know what you mean. I've been looking for Anderson Duncan for quite some time now. It looks like Anderson had a son named Zachariah and I've traced him to Carthage, IL. I'm going to see what else I can find out for him and maybe it will lead me to Anderson and maybe even Allison.
Yes, we have the marriage certificate of Tazwell. But since Anderson passed in 1954 , 7 months after Sarah Ellen was born then I guess I should look in Illinois. Just can't find anything on Allison or any thing on Andersons family to find out if these two were brothers or not. So frustrating.

I am related to Christina Bishop, Anderson Duncan's wife. I am looking for info into her second husband, Allison Duncan. Which is the father of my gggrandfather. Any help would be appreciated. I cannot find him anywhere. Thanks

Hello Barbara,

You've probably been hard at work adding family members and getting connected to those that are already here. You should have at least a few profiles that you manage now. So, this week we're going to look at how to work with your Watchlist: How to Manage Your Watchlist.

As always, your questions are welcome!

Thanks, WikiGreeter Cindy

Barbara --

You've been here for three weeks now! We hope you're profiles are starting to come together and that you've enjoyed getting to know all of us a little better. You're probably getting a good feel for the collaborative nature of WikiTree by now. We know that collaboration isn't always easy. So, we've put together a few pointers that can make working in this type of environment a little easier: How to be a Successful WikiTreer. As always, your questions are welcome!

Hi Barbara–

I'm a member of the Mentor project, and I just wanted to check in and see how things are going. Do you have any questions I can help you with?

Shirley

Hi Barbara,

You are now a confirmed member, and you can get started adding your family members. As we've said, WikiTree is quite different from other genealogy sites. So, we've put together a guided tour to help you learn how to use it. Your first stop is How to Start Climbing Our Tree.

Tomorrow, you'll hear from a Mentor who will check in to see how you're doing and answer any questions you might have.

Next week, you'll get another message with your next stop on the guided tour.

You can also meet some of our members by joining in the fun with our Question of the Week in the G2G forum: Have you found any unusual occupations in your family tree?

Welcome!
