Biography

Samuel Haliday would have been with the Loyalist migration of 1783 from New York to Nova Scotia, likely part of Delancy's Brigade from Westchester, New York that settled in Westchester, Nova Scotia. He married a Patience Cole after that in Nova Scotia and was "of Cobequid, Nova Scotia.". The marriage likely took place between 1783 and 1791. A record hasn't been found.
