Sadly his wife Margaret passed away in 1879, age 28.
Second Marriage
George was married on 21 Apr 1882, in Eckford, Roxburghshire, Scotland, to Jane Barrie.[3] At the time of his marriage George was employed as an Farm Servant and he resided at Grahamslaw, Eckford, Roxburghshire, Scotland.
George and Jane had one child, a son, William (1886 - 1917).
