Elisabeth was born October 23, 1822 in Anderston near Glasgow, Lanarkshire and was baptised November 17th in Barony, Lanarkshire, Scotland. She was the daughter of James Halliday and Elisbabeth Airth.[1]
She was the second wife of Peter Scott, marrying him on September 21, 1843 in Rutherglen, Lanarkshire.[2]
