Grace L. Trickey
Funeral services for Grace L. Trickey, 74, 628 Barre St., city, will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the Fox Funeral Home in Ogdensburg with Rev. David Morgan, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Flackville Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be this evening and Tuesday afternoon and evening. Mrs. Trickey died Sunday (Feb. 21, 1982) in the A. Barton Hepburn Hospital.
Surviving are five sons, Harold Lawton, Glendale, Calif., Ralph Lawton, Rochester, and Richard Lawton, Phoenix, N.Y., Bernard Trickey, city, and Daniel Trickey, Phoenix, N.Y:; four daughters, Mrs. Charles (Marjorie) Rheome, Mrs. Shirley Geddes, and Mrs. Judy Reese, all of Ogdensburg, and Mrs. Rosemary Wright, Phoenix, N.Y.; two sisters,. Mrs. Lloyd (Alice) Lawton, Canton Road, and Mrs. John (Rosedale) Suhocky, Potsdam; two brothers, Jay Halladay, Crary Mills, and Ray Halladay, Rochester; 42 grandchildren; and several greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Trickey was born in Watertown on Feb. 15,1908, daughter of Bernand and Mary Ruttan Halladay. She attended Watertown rural schools and married Ralph Lawton on July 17, 1925. Mr. Lawton died in 1931. She then married Hiram H. Trickey on Sept. 22, 1934. Mr. Trickey died in 1967. Mrs. Trickey had been a resident of Barre Street since 1936 and had been in ill health for the past year and a half. She was active at the city's geriatric center and was a member of the Methodist Church, the Royal Neighbors, and the Senior Citizens.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
