Caroline's birthplace was wrong on this census.[2]

In 1875, they were in election district ward 8 in Oswego. Caroline was 42, William 40, Albert 13, Jesse 11, Leon 7. They stated William was from Jefferson County, NY and was now a boat captain. They were now living in a plank home worth $600.[3]
