Dawson Trent Haley was born on April 16, 1954 in Kermit, Winkler County, Texas, United States, son of Robert Eugene Haley (1928–2008) and Darby Joy Crabb (1935–2010).[1]
Dawson passed away on September 22, 1967 in Kermit, aged 13. He died after a bus and motorbike collision. He suffered a skull fracture and amputated leg. He was buried on September 24, 1967 in Haley Ranch Cemetery, Kermit, Winkler County, Texas.[2][3]
