Claude grew up in Salida Colorado and joined the Navy on his 17th birthday. Claude went overseas in late 1942, seeing duty in Guadalcanal and other parts of the Pacific theatre. He went missing just off the Southern coast of Taiwan in 1945.
Claude Haley was killed in action during World War II.
